Moove Online’s Basic Membership is 100% FREE and it comes with tons of Free goodies like your very own Free 3D House with unlimited rooms to explore and decorate. You’ll also get free avatars, free outfits, free furnitures for your home, free gadgets and lots more.

Unfortunately, the Basic Membership has its limits like not allowing you to visit other people’s 3D homes. You can visit your own 3D Home anytime and you can invite other people to visit you but you simply cannot visit them with a Basic Membership.

Moove Online looks like a lot of fun but as a newbie to Moove Online, I find the website and the community site overwhelming. Information is good but there are too much information in Moove Online’s community site and they are not too organized as well. See the screenshot of Moove Online’s community site below. It’s like a wall of text and it is not even the full screen yet.

The main site isn’t too user friendly either but it is much cleaner and a bit more nicer to look at. See the screenshot of Moove Online’s main site below. It’s not as visually appealing as most virtual world’s website but it’s filled with information and links. If you are the type who likes to read and follow links then you might enjoy Moove Online’s main page. He he he!

To view the 3D Virtual World of Moove Online, a user must download their virtual world browser or client, the Roomancer. Roomancer is both a web browser and a virtual world viewer for Moove Online. You can access both the 3D Virtual World and the Community Site from it. A couple of screenshots of my Moove Online 3D Home can be seen below.

I still have lots of things to learn about Moove Online. For example, I still need to learn how to edit or customize my Moove Online avatar, how to decorate or customize my Moove Online 3D Rooms, how to create my own Moove Online 3D items and many more. I know learning a new virtual world will not be easy but with enough time, I know I will get use to it.

Kaneva members create the digital version of themselves — avatars — and then meet up in a vibrant, 3D world based on the modern day. Every Kaneva member gets a Kaneva City Loft — their own 3D space — that they can decorate and furnish in their unique style. You can bring your favorite videos, photos, music, and games, and watch them on your 3D televisions. You can invite friends to hang out in your 3D home or meet up in any of Kaneva’s public spaces and chat in real-time. You can shop for the latest fashions or home decor, chat, dance, play games, watch TV and movies, and come back again and again to explore and have fun in an ever evolving world full of exciting people, places and entertainment.

The reason I joined Kaneva is because, just like with Second Life, it allows me to create and build my own stuff in-world. I also like the fact that Kaneva has a very low system requirements which makes it ideal for those with older computers because not everyone can afford a $2,000 machine.

Another nice feature of Kaneva is that it has its own Facebook like community website. Users who don’t feel like logging in to the virtual world can still communicate with their friends through the community website. The community website is also integrated with the virtual world itself since content like images, patterns, music, videos and others are uploaded and shared through the community website.

For developers, Kaneva is also a platform where virtual worlds applications can be created from. Examples of in-world applications or games created using Kaneva are Pet Paradise and Harvest Time. Those interested in developing applications using Kaneva should visit http://developer.kaneva.com.
